Physicians with an active CMA membership and a NS postal code are eligible to vote. Election period is Nov. 18 to Dec. 2, 2026. To vote in the election, you must be a CMA member by Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. AT.  

Physicians and learners can log into the CMA’s membership portal using their CMA username and password. They can then select “my profile” to validate that their membership is in good standing and view their email address that will be used for all voting communications.

CMA membership is free for medical students, residents, physicians in their first five years of practice, and retired physicians. For physicians in practice for six years or more, the cost is $195 every two years
